Bearing in mind that the truth isn’t easy to find
It came to me from the sky
A green copper glow, a silent rush of light

The radio still plays like nothing’s wrong
Turn the dial to static, leave it on

“Weather balloons” said the officer

Later that night cars with tinted glass
Were parked out in my street
We circle round one of a billion suns
I know they know we’re not the only ones
Radio telescopes caught whispers
We’re not supposed to know
Hear the clicking on the line
They tapped my phone
